I mean, my host is. They had recently acquired a new server, and my account was moved onto this new server.
But, this new server has been under attack since the last 4 days. My host reports that the server has been subjected to DDoS attacks which are pretty nasty it seems. These attacks have been causing a LOT of damage to the sites hosted on the server. The attacks cause Apache server to fail, and thus all sites hosted are rendered inaccessible.
I’ve been constantly in touch with the owner via Live Messenger, and they’re working around the clock to sort things. He says that the attacks are constant, and as soon as they sort everything, they come back. My host and the team managed to put up the server twice, but it went down again.
Finally, I had my account(s) moved onto the better other server, and countng the 4-hour domian propogation delay, all* my sites were online and everything seems working fine.
I hope everything works out smoothly now.
