Milind finally gets off his lazy bum and finds the precious time to redesign his site.
All thanks to some stable internet and constant flow of coffee by the white guy, I got around to theming not just this blog, but the Tumblog as well. Let’s just say I hate theming in Tumblr and I probably won’t attempt it again.
The site sure looks great, although I wonder why he let the sidebar slide with the content, unlike how it was originally designed ( fixed position ).

I’ve been hearing him talk about his design on twitter and having seen some of the ads designed by him for the Fusion ad network, I was curious and excited to see it.
I love the new design, more so because it’s an HTML5 layout with the goodness of a Tumblr theme. But I hate the fact that everyone’s slowly making Tumblr their new home and I’m the lone WordPress warrior left on the planet of awesomeness.

Kyle’s site, TightWind, has just gone live with a fantastic new design. I really like the subtle background, with more more emphasis now on his writing and typography. Be sure to check out his articles, specially this review of Cultured Code’s Things

I attended the Camp Icarus yesterday, a mini Barcamp of sorts at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology in Versova, Andheri, Mumbai. The event was organized as a part of their Icarus festival, which incidentally had a super-awesome LAN-Gaming competition the earlier day.
It was a good initiative and was backed by a decent amount of attendees pre-lunch. Even though most of the attendees were students of the same college, there were quite a few outsiders too. There was a substantial drop in the number of attendees after the FREE lunch session, but the spirit did not die down.
There were some interesting session taken at the event:
- Funding your Startup by Mihir
- Meri Bhi Website Hogi by Saumil Parekh
- Promoting and Monetizing your Blog by Manan Kakkar
- Podcasting by Dinesh Soni
- Useless Talk by Neeraj Pattath
