An iPod is an iPod
So I bought the the new generation Apple iPod nano a few days back. After adding a few songs to it, I’ve carrying it to almost any place I go ( My loo being an exception :p ).
I generally keep the nano in my pocket, so only the white wires of the earphones are visible. Now, there have been numerous times when people / friends have asked me, “iPod hain kya?” ( Is it an iPod? ). To this, I generally reply proudly, “Yep! Its the new iPod. The slim and sexy one.” and similar stuff. But I’ve never been prepared to answer what follows. People, on hearing that its an iPod, have been asking, “Apple ka hain?” ( :-s )
Like, WTF ? “OFCOURSE ITS A FRIGGIN APPLE KA IPOD YOU IDIOT !!!!!!!!!!” ~X(
Come on. Apple designs, produces, manufactures some of the best gadgets and machines in the world. The iPod is one of them. It revolutionized music players. And you friggin ask me is it from Apple ?
I mean, Yes, I know there are plenty of cheap knock-offs available in the market. But those are NOT iPods :|
I rest my talk now :|

=))
thank god nobody asked you if you have Apple’s Mac :p
^ =)) ROFL
But seriously, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve told people, that iPod is NOT any dumb MP3 player, it’s a brand by Apple, but still it’s the same :| Just couple of days ago, my colleague tells me “Oooh look look I bought an iPod”, guess what she bought? It’s a T.Sonic 610 ~X(
The thing is, Indians have taken to calling all locally made and branded music players ‘iPods’.
^Exactly ! They call every cheapo made Mp3 Player as iPOD :|
:-< It’s gotten such that if you say It’s an mp3 player they stare and ask “what player?”
LOL mine was the same case but vice versa. It was not an iPOD but was asked which brand iPOD it was. GOD
Really why can’t people understand the difference.
