Last Hope Lost - Really stuck with MTNL
A few entries back i had written about me being stuck with MTNL. Now, I had my last hopes on Tata Indicom Broadband and had given an application for a connection. I was told to wait till they are done with a feasibility study of the Area.
Even Subbu , who had applied for a connection after he realised Airtel broadband did not service his area of residence, got his Tata Broadband connection activated.
I have been calling up Airtel BB’s Cust Care for the past 12 months, but they still do not feel the need to service my area and provide me with a connection. Tata Indicom Broadband was my last hope. But they too do not service my area. :(( :((
I think for me, its MTNL. Just MTNL. Only MTNL. I am Stuck with MTNL :((
Why ?
Mumbai has the following Broadband ISPs operating.
- SIFY - My Cablewallah charges 200 bucks extra permonth. Is a intranet based connection. Goes down in the Rains.
- Pacenet - Intranet based, n/w FULL of viruses, slow like hell. Snailband is a better name for it.
- Airtel - Does Not Service my area yet. I’ve been waiting for a connection since the past 12 Months.
- TATA - My Last hope. Does not Service my area
- IQARA / YouBB - Does not Service my area
- Hathway - Does not service my Area
So you see. I’m still stuck with MTNL. Not that MTNL’s service is bad or something. But I just want an Unlimited connection. The download limit of 1Gb is just too less for me.
Oh well. Looks like I will have to re-locate myself. *sigh*
Sad bro. :-( But why doesn’t anyone provide services in your area?
Man which area do u stay at ? seems like maybe some local cable (goons) have control and wont let other potential service providers in !!!!
And by the way that could be the reason, or maybe you are at some remote location where they wont earn anything by providing service but loss !!!
Or last but not the least ! it could be that they all are scared of you !!! dont terrorise them dude!!! ehehe! ?
Relocate yourself ? Haha. No other choice bro. What else can we do… Why not open a petition for bringing an U/L plan for Mumbai ; if Delhi gets it, why can’t we ?
@ neel: No reason.. its not that my area is located in a far off land away from the city… I stay in Malad, the central hub of Call centres. The Mindspace area is 500metres away from my house and all these players are present there.
