I’m stuck with Damn MTNL
*sigh*
My last month’s Broadband Bill came 2 day’s back. I’ve been an MTNL’s Triband customer for 14 months now. Guess last month’s bil ? :(
A whopping 1700 ( _Just_ for the Broadband :(( ) I really need to move onto an Unlimited Connection. The monthly 1GB Limit is really too little for me. Why can’t they come out with an Unlimited plan ? MTNL Delhi has it :-L
Its been almost an year that I’ve been waiting for Airtel Broadband to provide service in my Area of Residence. I give them a callallmost every month and all I get to hear is that “they’re working on it”. :-w. Its thier Unlimited plan that I want.
And till date, they aren’t yet doing anything. I’m stuck with Airtel. I have no other ISP in my Area. There’s that Pacenet / Sify but…
- SIFY - My Cablewallah charges 200 bucks extra permonth. Is a intranet based connection. Goes down in the Rains.
- Pacenet - Intranet based, n/w FULL of viruses, slow like hell. Snailband is a better name for it.
Seriously, I’m waiting for a miracle to happen.
Sad situation bro ! Same here. But kya karey no better option to Mtnl - atleast their service and uptime is good.
AitTel Gprs is also an option for people like us today. Just 200rs PM UNlimited but at only 50kbps (6KBps) :(
I know Tanmay !! This is so bad. MTNL Delhi has Unlimited. Not Us :(
And plus, I really was thinking of getting a GPRS connection ( for my laptop on the move ) :P
But I need to buy a Series 60 mobile first. :|

arre mere bhai, even i hav the same problem. Sumtimes i wonder if i really live in bombay :-?, Now im using my Tata indicom phone which is free from 10 - 6 forever :-P. But im lookin for a better service provider, did u read TOI 2 days back it hd a AD of some new ISP called YOU.
Ill search for it.

I totally agree Broadband scene is indeed really bad.
I paid Rs. 2700 for March bill as i used 2gb more than my plan and look my father is very angry on me, sometimes i never feel how much i used and also don’t want to check the usage cause it could struck my work if i focus on this
