Well…
After my RAM had passed away a few weeks back, my 2 year OLD comapnion was left at snail’s pace, forced to do complex things with only half a GB of RAM.
Now, as if to give me another blow, my HDD butt-fcuked itself :| I wasn’t able to access my C: Drive, neither was I able to boot into WinDoze ( for the same reason ). Not only this, but my DVD Writer refused to open the tray with the Eject button ( No no :p Its not a Samsung Optical Drive that would give me Tray problems )
Both these things were ( and have been ) taken for replacement. So here I am left with Only a Cabinet, Mobo, Procc Monitor..
No HDD to Install an OS to, neither a CD Reader to run a Live CD. Anyways, I had to stay 3 days without the Internet. But I coudn’t, any longer. I had to get online. So I borrowed a Samsung CD-Rom ( Yeh Yeh ) from a friend and plugged it onto my system. And thus, I could run Ubuntu Live CD. And thus, thanks to Ubuntu’s Live CD, I am able to atleast surf the internet, and logon on my Y! and MSN Accounts.
Although, since I have no HDD, I cannot save any files. Because of this, I won’t be able to update Accha?’s skin as I had originally intended, for the New year.
