The battle for the laptop…
Its begun…
I’ve decided that I’ll get into a full-speed, full-effort mode trying to convince my parents to buy me a laptop.
No I’m not just wasting their money here, I really _do_ need a laptop ( I said need not want ). I’ve got my final year project that needs mobility, then there’s Technofest coming up in college, then there’s the space constraint on my study table :P, then there’s my power hungry, old, very dark, so problematic 17″ monitor plus I had already mentioned I’m running .5 gigs of RAM short on my system
(Isn’t it amazing :D !! Just a small thought of buying a new system and all the problems of your current system start coming up :p )
Anyways, I really really need tips trying to convince my parents to buy me a laptop.
Not only tips, but I also need good recommendations as to which laptop to buy. I really like the Dell XPS series. (Yeah, small and cute n costly )

No laptop, if bought in India, considering its good configuration, is below 50K.
So take my budget as 70K MAX.
Thats the MAX, i repeat MAX my parents will be ready to even C.O.N.S.I.D.E.R. :|
well try to incraese tat to 80k then u ill get some really awesome lappy’s and BTW will u use ur lappy for gaming

MAX = Maximum…. Its the limit. Theres nothing beyond MAX ( MAximum, NOT {MaX};) ).
So when I say 70K = MAX. I mean it.
( ok ok, maybe I over did. :p Its not really MAX. But lets see )
Also, I ain’t a gamer. I don’t even use my Desktop for gaming ( except for the occasional NFS race, MM cops vs robbers etc )
So I think it’ll be the same..
Although, I think, if I am spending upto 70K, I’m sure to have a Core2Duo and atleast 2 Gigs of RAM in my system :D
Then ASUS will give u the best bang for buck in tat budget
