From a Gig of RAM to .5 of it…
Well,
If you’d have read my last entry… I had stated that I wasn’t writing the entry from my system. The reason was, my system was down, out, dead.. cal it what you may.
It refused to boot. I wasnt able to figure out what was wrong.. No beeps..
I was told to clean the RAM, and I did. Still no luck… then it struck me… Maybe I shud try removing one of the 512 MB sticks I have. I did. No luck… I tried again :p this time removing the other stick….
yayyyy…. I saw the GRUB ( yeh yeh…. I have Ubuntu too)
But :( My system has just 512 Megs of RAM :(( It seems so sloooooow :((
I need my RAM back…
Did you try running a Memtest86 on it? :|
All is not lost. Most probably your RAM will have warrenty. Take it to your computer wallah and he’ll see if he can do something about it.
awww….such a step down. But Does Your RAM have warranty?

There is a 3 year warranty…
Anywez, I’ll be getting 2 new stick makin the total to 2 GB >:)
